The Gables

In 2018 Karen from KH Inspired Design was called upon to provide guidance for the rejuvenation of The Gables historic Manor House situated in Maclean NSW.

Built in 1867 it originally operated as a Hotel, before becoming a Guesthouse, Restaurant, B&B and finally a private residence.

As you can imagine a property of this scale & age required careful consideration when it came to the selections.

The Brief was to enhance the beautiful heritage proportions keeping the original fittings wherever possible, while infusing a fresh, relaxed atmosphere more conducent to today’s living. The renovation process has been a labour of love carried out over 4 years.

KH Inspired Design provided assistance with colour palette selection including paint, tiles, floor coverings, supply of window coverings, spatial planning, furniture selection, artwork selection & final styling.
